High Dynamic Resolution For Idiots

Digital cameras
or I should say my digital camera
or perhaps my digital camera plus my
limited talent
is unable to capture what I want it to
in just one shot
so I like to combine them
This photo is actually a combination of five
photos (captured in RAW format)
taken a five different f-stops
then combined in photomatix plus 3
then processed first in adobe photoshop cs3 and then adobe lightroom 2 beta.
I takes a while to do this because the size of the resulting composite photo is
about  50 megabytes
and that’s after reducing them form 32 bit to 16 bit…
to be continued
