The RedRock Micro Company (Hmm why is RED in their name???) Sells these neat kits that turn your DV camera and your digital SLR’s into things that look a lot easier to use. Or perhaps needlessly complicated.
The tripod setup with microMattebox, 4 lens gears, follow focus, baseplate, rods, microHandle, and cage setup costs $2,445.
The handheld setup with baseplate, follow focus, rods, microHandle, cage setup, shoulderpad, grips, 4 lens gears but without the microMattebox costs $1,995.
Looks like a Canon Mark II kit will be out before the camera.
Wonder if theyll have an PL lens version?
Saw this entire kit with the 5d mark II setup. Amazing and will change the industry. Hope to be shooting with it by year end.
